WHO: Luffy, Open to ANYONE
WHAT: Underground fight ring- fight, bet, or take control of the operation.
WHERE: Empty warehouse in the train yard
WHEN: 10 PM on the nearest Wednesday.
The rattle of trains passing over the tracks, slowing down, attaching and disconnecting cars provided a background score for the folks gathered inside an empty warehouse. An impromptu ring was made, orange cones and yellow rope over the concrete floor.
So what if a few skulls got crushed, this was the survival of the fittest.
Smallest of the small time, this was a place where any joe or jane could just walk in, pay the ten dollar entrance fee and get in line to be matched up and fight.
A few hungry bookies were taking bets, but there was nothing keep a group of friends and associates from making a few friendly wagers against each other.
The best thing Luffy loved about it here was the elimination of brackets. You could fight anyone here, and that made it all the more exciting.
