WHO: Kuna Mashiro (maschera_verde) & Muguruma Kensei (shortfuseken)
WHAT: Mashiro gets into a bit of trouble on her way to Kensei's.
WHERE: Kensei's apartment
WHEN: 12/15; Evening

Mashiro, having really nothing better to do during the two weeks Kensei was gone, had been counting down the days until he would return. With every day that passed she grew more anxious with seeing him again. You could say she was very much like a pet whose owner had gone out of town and was now eagerly awaiting their return. And finally the day had arrived, Kensei was back!

She had decided when she awoke that morning that she would be a good girl and not sneak into his apartment for a change. She would try her best to be like a normal human, as hard as that was for her. She spent the day cleaning up her apartment, picking out something nice to wear and even baked some cookies to take over. Really cookies were the only thing she was good at making.

It getting late by the time she was done. Cookies in hand she skipped from her apartment toward Kensei's. Somewhere along the way she became aware she was being followed. The green haired girl frowned, why would any want to follow her. She turned down an alley that connected to the next street over in hopes she wrong and if she wasn't she'd be able to lose them.

As she reached the other end of the alleyway two men stepped in her way. She blinked and looked up at them. "Umm...excuse me but I need through." she said, causing them men to laugh at her. Mashiro pouted at them and decided if they weren't going to move she'd just have to go back the way she had come only to find out when she turned around that sure enough she had been followed. Three more men stood behind her.

"I really must be going, could you let me by?" the green haired girl asked with a smile. Once again the men laughed. "On your way to grandma's house, girlie?" the tallest asked as he stepped forward. All five closed in on her.

Immediately she realized that there was going to be trouble. She could easily get past them but she really didn't feel the need to hurt anyone. Of course in her hesitation one of them was quickly on her, slamming her against the wall with hand around her throat. "Le-let go!" Mashiro demanded. She couldn't reach her knife now but she still had her feet, and at times they could be more deadly than any blade.

When the man laughed and didn't move away from her she kicked out, sending the man into one of his buddies behind him and both of them into the opposite wall of the narrow alley. In the split second the other three were stunned, Mashiro took that time to make a break for it, unfortunately the thinnest of the men was faster. He caught up to Mashiro and grabbed her by the back of her head, throwing her back into the alley. She was caught by another of the men and held tight, while the third, that was still conscious, drew a knife.

"It could have been easy but ya had to make it hard on yourself." he said as he brought up the knife threateningly. "Make sure she doesn't kick." The man holding the green haired assassin nodded and pushed her to her knees. Of course pushing Mashiro to her knees didn't stop her any. She was flexible enough to get her legs free and kick the man with the knife and then wriggle free from the man holding her.

She couldn't help but laugh. She hadn't wanted to fight but if its a fight they wanted, then very well. "You thought I was just some helpless girl, huh?" Quickly her knife was in her hand. "Well you're sooooooorely mistaken." She laughed and quickly rushed the man that had been holding her.

Quick legs, but not quick enough eyes, before she knew it she felt something hard hit the back of her head. The knife and cookies dropped from her hands, lights danced before her eyes. She stumbled and hit the ground right at the man feet. After that everything was a blur, she felt an impact to her ribs, a searing pain on her back, everything was going dark just before her instincts kicked in. The instincts that she tried so hard to keep under control, but her currently muddled mind couldn't, not now. And it was better this way, if she didn't let it she would certainly die.

The next thing Mashiro knew, she found herself at Kensei's door, her body ached and she looked like hell. She raised a hand to knock on the door only to fall forward against it, slipping to her knees as she blacked out yet again, this time no hollow to take over for her.
