Throughout today and yesterday, he'd heard lots of rumors about what had happened at the free clinic on Tuesday night. Bored and curious, with nothing better to do, Kia hopped on his motorcycle and sped through the roads too old and narrow for cars to use. Tigg would have to be a good dog at home alone tonight.
He parked the bike near what had to be the building. What other place would have a nearly intact first story, but a second that looked like every window had been broken or shot out and a trail of blood leading either to or from the front door. Kia stood, looked it over, and let his mind wonder what had caused the destruction.
