Kristoph arrived first.

This was hardly a surprise, he figured - he was dealing with this as much as anyone else, and his position in the house lead him to gather quite a bit of stuff that he knew, and all in all it looked pretty bad. He watched his phones flicker sadly, knowing that Tieria took these kinds of precautions. It wasn't that he didn't like them - they were fantastic - but being out of contact bothered Kristoph, just as a general thing. He had told Rhode she did not have to go, and if Tieria tried to say otherwise than the was not above pulling rank.

He stepped inside and crossed his hands behind his back, his expression serious and unimpressed; he tilted his head forward as he watched the purple-haired consgliere wait for more.

"What is the reason you've so-called cancelled the look into what we spoke about?" He asked.

Tieria's expression remained singular, nothing above work-mode. "I have not canceled the look. I am merely doing it myself, rather than with assistance. I am sorry you misinterpreted my statement. Also, that matter is not relevant to this situation." He looked briefly at Kristoph's lack of accompaniment. "I presume you decided Miss Kamelot did not need to be here. That is your prerogative, and I will not argue with it, but I will advise that it is perhaps not the best move. My reports indicate the AMC moving on this rather quickly, and surprisingly effectively. I would like to get all of those involved to a secure location, hence my summons. I would also like everyone to be informed, hence the breadth of my summons." He shrugged broadly. "I will continue to do my job for the security of Vescovo family until I am told expressly to stop.

"That said, I have also summoned our, mm, hired help, of whom I believe we need to dispose." He eyes did not flicker in this statement, rather they went directly to a screen, which had ( ... )

Syaoran's phone suddenly lost signal as he walked toward the specified location. He wasn't surprised, it had happened often in and around Sensei's mansion. He was a little more concerned when the phone lost power. He was still perhaps a mile out (he was always bad at judging distances), so he decided to run the rest of the way. He wouldn't know what was going on if he was late. His powerful legs carried him quickly, he arrived a short time later.

Pushing open the door to the inconspicuous-seeming warehouse--it seemed Tieria couldn't help but be thorough--Syaoran stepped inside silently and cautiously. The door itself made little noise as he let it shut, at least compared to what normally must have been rusty screeching. He was staring at Mr. Gavin's back, so he quickly stepped to the side, standing against the wall.

He gave a slight bow of respect to Tieria, making sure the consigliere acknowledged his presence. It disturbed Syaoran a little to realize there were, as of yet, no caporegimes in the warehouse.

Zoro entered, warily. Usually, after a job was finished and over with, he didn't linger upon it, and even with all of the news coverage that Caiman's death had gotten, he had more or less put it out of mind. The only thing luring him to this meeting was the fact that Caiman had identified him: green haired asshole who cut off his head. And, well, the entire goddamn city was corrupt; who was he to know which one of his clients felt like outing him as "green haired bastard with a sword ( ... )

Squalo wore a face of complete lack of emotion as he arrived on the scene. The temporary death of his phone didn't bother him. He was used to this. He'd spent the last few years learning to cope with Tieria's security measures. He didn't even tell Tizziano where he was going...though Tizziano was nearby. THAT was Squalo's precaution...because after his conversation with Caiman, Squalo no longer knew if he could trust anyone outside of his own unit. They were his family...not this lot.

He did not speak when he arrived. He simply gave a nod to Syaoran and Tieria...

Kira stubbed out his cigarette early before stepping inside the warehouse, his expression grim, mouth in a thin line. Normally his nicotine addiction was kept at bay with a couple of smokes a day-- but normally people he'd watched get decapitated didn't spontaneously revive a week later, either. He'd been chain-smoking almost constantly since Caiman's godforsaken return to life, as though that would delay the inevitable. Pure, unadulterated human nature. Well, the worst had happened. They'd been found out.

He glanced over at the crowd before nodding his head in what barely passed for a general greeting. There was Zoro-- hadn't seen him since the disaster. Tieria. Squalo. Syaoran. And Gavin himself. There was a thought to warm the coldest heart for sure. Kira's mouth twitched into the barest hint of an unconscious smirk at that before he crammed his hands into his pockets and turned his glance to the floor.

"I had a problem the two parts of the problem would resolve each other, if you understand my meaning." It would have been nicer to go into more detail, however, the sudden explosion of people sort of cut that off. Generally, talking about someone's death in front of them didn't work out. "But I find your way work fine as well ( ... )

Accepting Kristoph's agreement with little indication, Tieria turned to look over the group. "As you know, we have a bit of a problem," he said dryly, going from one problematic face to another, with a few non-problems thrown in. He was perturbed at the lack of either Rhode or Brian, despite how well-reasoned one of them was, and made a mental note to deal with it soon.

"As the proprietor of the Hungry Bug is not dead, despite your best efforts, it has become rather more of a problem than it should have been. My advice on the issue was to leave the man alone until we knew more about him, but my advice was obviously not heeded. And so now, we must deal with it accordingly." He ran up an eyebrow. "How would you suggest we do that?" he asked benignly, full attention appearing to be on the faces before him.

Syaoran remained silent. The business with Caiman had nothing to do with him, and he wanted no part of it. It was bad enough he was here when it seemed so likely that one of the men present would be killed by the end of the night--the man with green hair probably wouldn't be able to leave unscathed.

Syaoran didn't know why he was even summoned, much less why a mission that hadn't involved him was being discussed while he was within earshot. The men who ran this family were very...unintelligent, sometimes.

Zoro listened carefully to everybody's words, and was quite at a loss as to why they felt that they had to summon him here. Well, not completely at a loss. Certainly, since he was there, he wanted to hear all the details, and they presumably wanted him to hear them too, which would make sense if they were just making strategic moves involving Caiman's mysterious back-to-life-whatever-the-fuck-happened-in-this-chemical-factor-of-a-city.

But they weren't. There were three people Zoro had never seen before, and Brian (whose arm was still ripped off?) was absent, as was that little girl. They were talking Vescovo business if there were people unrelated to the direct incident.

One of these things didn't belong.

He set his jaw, furrowed his brow, kept a tighter grasp on his swords. These situations weren't exactly familiar to Zoro, but it had never been at quite this level. This meant he had to be wary. This meant that if he felt like this, being wary sure as hell wasn't gonna cut it. Whatever.

Squalo listened carefully to Tieria's words and turned them over in his mind carefully. Each one was studied with the mind that Reborn had trained to interpret such information. He ascertained the meaning within the meaning and came up with his next words after a careful deliberation that lasted but a moment to the others.

When he spoke, the words were clear.

"We need to tie up the loose ends..."

Tie up loose ends.

Kira bit on the inside of his cheek until he tasted blood. Two other Vescovo who had nothing to do with the Caiman screw-up. He ought to have seen this coming, he really ought to have. Fact that he was a born-and-raised Vescovo aside, he'd fucked up severely. A simple dressing-down probably wouldn't cut it. But so had Brian. So had Rhode. Why weren't they there? Why was it only him and Zoro?

Vescovo members weren't usually all that expendable, but that wasn't much of a consolation.

"Is having everyone that took part in the attack on Caiman leave the country too drastic to be an option?" It was the first thing that came to mind, despite the fact that a million different ways to shoot that option down came into his head the second the words left his mouth. Kira's tone managed not to betray that, though, sounding far more relaxed than he felt, eyes staring straight ahead.

"I don't think so, Mr. Sakuya."

The poor boy must be frightened to hell, with this kind of group around him. "However, I am also concerned that allowing people on too long a leash can have other consequences as well. And, as Squalo said, the loose ends remain. I imagine there are other ways to solve the problem." One gloved hand brushed hair from his eyes. He liked Kira. Mazikeen had liked Kira, which was a better mark in his book.

"I think there are those who have more or less fault in the matter, and that sort of thing should be factored in, as well."
