Kristoph stepped inside smoothly and closed the door behind him. Despite the late hour, he was flawlessly composed, his trademark hairtwist and his pink bowtie perfectly in place. He glanced over the office once, as if he expected to see some hidden person or obvious camera, then swiftly moved to stand in front of Tieria.

"You called?" He asked, folding his hands behind his back. "What did you wish to share with me?"

A long, slow sip of cocoa. A deliberate expression. Then, "Do you think Ciel becoming Sotto Capo has been a step forward for this family?"

"I do think so, as a matter of fact." It was not a question he expected, but it hardly surprised him. He paused for a moment to organization his reasons to share, not one of which was that he was a hundred times easier to manipulate. "I think having a Vescovo as the Sotta Capo is a tribute to the blood loyalty." He smiled wryly, brushing a very-blonde hair away and folding his hands in front of him. "Not only that, I find that the best way to learn is through experience, and as heir to the Don's throne, there is no better way for him to learn how to run the family."

He quirked his head to the side, his expression curious. "Why do you ask? You're not required to answer."

Another long sip of cocoa as Tieria seemed to ruminate upon this. "Your blood loyalty, as you say, is not your most honest contemplation," he said calmly, taking another sip. "The lack thereof is however not yet detrimental to the family's longevity, in both power and name." His eyes were unnaturally sharp, their eerie red color reflection the glow from a small device flickering on his desk. "In this circumstance, however, I would like an honest answer. Perhaps then I will answer your own question."
