WHAT: An interrogation after Saint's kidnapping.
WHERE: AMC Headquarters.
WHEN: Day 160.
It wasn't his day. Not even remotely.
It'd been nice to go a visit Jared in the hospital. That, he had no complaints about. But the admittedly unfortunate series of following events made him seriously wonder if he'd done anything recently to deserve the Worst Possible Luck Ever. Because things like this just didn't happen unless you really deserved it. Even the universe and any god who might rule it didn't have that bad of a sense of humor-- did they?
First, he'd been kidnapped. And then held hostage by a crazed AMC robot. There'd been gunshots-- hadn't a police officer died?-- and a full eternity before the cops pulled him from the back of the van. The van marked with the Laughing Man logo. Of course, his bad luck went past that too. Of course the damn police couldn't send a victim home to recover. No. He hadn't even been allowed to call and report to his superiors.
Instead, he'd been escorted by a muscular Chinese woman to a separate room and told to wait. He was going to be questioned.
