WHO: Aigis and Kuja
WHAT: Kuja looking like the cat that caught the canary. Plotting things. General Kuja-made harassment?
WHERE:Aigis' Apartment
WHEN: Late evening of Day 153. Somewhere between the hours of 21:00 and 00:00 (9:00pm and Midnight).
(
The canary I've been after... She flew into my cage of her own free will. )
The knock on the door caught her completely off guard. Ichigo would have called to say he was coming by, and she didn't think that anyone else had her address. So when she stood up, she let the fingertips on her right hand pull back, ready to shoot at whoever was on the other side if need be.
"Who is there?"
Reply
"I believe we spoke over the phone, Miss Aigis. Or that could have been a mere flight of my imagination. If you are still interested in speaking, I think it would be easier if your door was not between us."
Reply
"I would prefer it if you didn't speak in circles. Tell me what your offer is so I can have time to consider it." His speech patterns grated on her nerves, made her think of old enemies.
Reply
"Do you not like circles, Miss Aigis? A pity, to hate such an eternity- a loop with no beginning and no end. Though I suppose that is very different from my offer, seeing it is finite in it's own origins and the means it wishes to reach. However, I am disinclined to keep from circles until I see a point in speaking in lines." Oh and such a well crafted speech, now lets just see if she can see the point to it. The point that Kuja was testing her.
Reply
"Eternity is a wonderful thing to hope for, but people live in lines. Some much more crooked than others, and some with shorter lines than we wished they'd have. Yet they are still lines."
Whatever he was trying to get at, Aigis wasn't sure she wanted part of it if it meant having to listen to this babble often.
Reply
"Well spoken, Miss Aigis. As for that offer of mine, I believe you have more than earned the right to hear it if you still wish to."
He was still leaving the matter in her hands. He was not going to explain such a plan if she was still not fully willing to hear it. He needed full commitment here.

"I still want to know what you think I could help you with. I need to do something other than sit around and feel useless."
Reply
"I am sure you have taken notice of how...disorderly our beloved city had become." He murmured, taking a slow walk about the room. "Even with a police force, this city will fall very quickly into riotous calamity if these...criminals are not kept under better tabs. That is why, Miss Aigis, I have constructed my own force- a group of virtuous individuals meant to hold back this rebellious fools. Would joining such a group interest you?"
Reply
Aigis looked pleased. "Assuming there would be fewer rules and forms associated with this group than the organization I just left, I would be glad to join." She still didn't completely trust Kuja, but this was a start.
Reply
"I will contact you with more information in the next few days. Todays meeting was only to assure that you would indeed wish to join us."

Aigis smiled still and nodded at him. "You know how to get in touch with me. I won't be going anywhere any time soon."
