Alucard, perched quietly in the shadow of a crypt, waited. He had the strong suspicion that the boy he'd arranged to meet was nothing more than thoroughly deranged. Because of that, he'd taken the time to check, test, and recheck his guns before setting out. Should anything untoward happen, Alucard would have a gun jammed so hard into Barrel's temple that he'd think he'd been born that way.
After his close call, and subsequent 'rescue' by Genkishi, Alucard had thought it wise to gain a few likely sources of blood. If he took small amounts more frequently, he wouldn't leave conspicuous corpses and frightened police. He had kept his word, though- he had obtained a fair amount of candy- chocolates, and fruity hard candies for sucking that Alucard had enjoyed as a boy. They were still a somewhat guilty pleasure of his- he was sucking a milk-flavored one right now.
