WHO: Mugen [samuraichanpuru ]; all the good boys and girls of Reggio Calabria who want to show. :)
WHAT: Opening night ("School's Out!") at ∞ [The Symbol Club]; see exhibit A and B.
WHERE: ∞
WHEN: Day 124, around 10 PM

CURRENTLY PLAYING: ♫ YING YANG TWINS FT. PITBULL - SHAKE

[∞ has four areas: the first, and largest, is the dance floor/main club area. Here, there is little sitting room allowed, it's all dancing: there are three main areas on the ground floor, the main dance floor, where Mugen DJs, and two smaller lounges with softer trance and house music. The second area is the second level, which has several tables and low lying couches spread out where those too tired (or too..occupied) can find a bit of repose, take a breath, talk to friends. The third area is the VIP section, reserved for those with the right amount of cash or the right amount of power or the perfect amount of both. There are a handful of Calabrians that can probably get in, easy. The last area is the outside lounge/deck area (pictured above). The music from the main deck filters out here, and allows the smokers in the crowd a place to have their nicotine fixes while not losing a single beat.]

The night had started out slow.

Mugen, a backwards sort of optimist, had decided long before he ascended from the expanse of dance floor with his gin and tonic to begin spinning the music that he wouldn't make any judgments on the success of his latest endeavor until the night was over. Completely over. It didn't make any sense to get over enthusiastic over something that might fall flat on its face, anyway; a waste of too much energy. So, he pulled a breath, drank his drink and waited.

He worked the music like an expert, pulling tracks, blending seamlessly. He was proud of the club, and it showed, the sleek design that wrapped effortlessly with the European charm the old citadel it was located in had created the perfect atmosphere--at least, in his opinion: there had been a few people up at arms at his company purchasing the dilapidated building the summer prior-- for this old city. While it wasn't home, because no where was home when you got down to it, it was a good place, a place he'd found a groove, old friends, and now, had found his music again.

A few of the girls on the floor were cute, he could see them from his DJ booth, the way they winked and made sure he was watching when they wound their bodies tight, let it drop low. He grinned, broad, wolfishly, letting them know that he saw it, and that, yeah, that he appreciated it. And Mugen did, in fact, appreciate it all. Women, all shapes and sizes, their breasts, and hips, and curves, and ass. He loved them all, discriminated against none and had his sights set on the cute blond dancing with her girlfriends in a circle, the one with her hair up in pigtails, and that cute pink skirt and giving him a stare that made him knowhe was going to need to take a break sooner or later and pull her into the VIP section for some up close and personal evaluation of her moves.
