WHO: Aigis, Ichigo, open to others WHAT: Talk and then starting to clean up the church debris WHERE: A flower garden near the church WHEN: Day 108, around noon
Ichigo shuffled through the streets of Reggio Calabria with his hands jammed into his faded jeans, eyes warily watching people and places pass by as he approached the remaining debris, a burning smell filling the air around him.
He knew which garden she was talking about, he came by himself once or twice to gather flowers on the date his mother passed away. It was a beautiful place which he both loathed and loved for the reminder of his guilty conscience and regret over the memory of her death.
He walked up to Aigis, careful not to step on any plants on the way and offered her a sidelong glance. She looked ordinary, maybe it was the plain clothing she wore or the expression on her face but from that single glance, if he didn't know she wasn't human he never would have guessed. A beat of silence passed between them before he ruffled his hair and grimaced.
"..hey."

Once she felt she had enough flowers, Aigis waited to meet the person that reminded her of him, in a way. She hadn't seen any butterflies, but she felt that he would have enjoyed her finding new friends who understood the importance of protecting others.
She saw a flash of orange hair, turned to look at him, and smiled faintly. "Hello. You must be Ichigo." Part of her mind found his name amusing because of his hair, but she assumed he'd heard it a million times before. It looked like she wore headphones, but they were in fact her ears.
It was pretty obvious that this girl was Aigis and he stood awkwardly at her side, his shoulder barely brushing hers as he slipped his hands back into jean pockets. The garden was as peaceful as he remembered and his eyes roamed over the rows of flowers before lifting their gaze to the bundle of flowers in her hands.
He blinked and an unsure frown made it's way to his face.
She shook her head. "This is the first time I've come here, though I've walked by it before. I think a lot of people will need the quiet of a place like this after they look for friends and family at the church."
Aigis stepped back a little. "I don't know why this bothers me as much as it does...nobody I cared for died this time." Those last two words said more than she realized.
