The young man moved around the desk, allowing his hands to fall by his sides as he looked towards the door where the older man would enter.
Ciel was dressed in business attire: cobalt eyes hidden by ashen dark hair that was cut in the latest of styles (Emily had advised him, of course), chin tilting up imperially, angling the sharpness of his still quite round face, attempting to look older than his fifteen years would allow.
His black pants and white shirt were of the highest quality fabric and the jacket that hung in neat shadows across the back of his chair were as well.
The boy's expression was smooth, calm, his growing fatigue making it easy to be emotionless as he walked to pick up his tea again, sipping the-- now frigid-- milky liquid with a little sneer curling over his lips. He deposited it again onto the saucer, no wisps of steam rising from it.
His dark blue eyes took the butler's appearance in, and spoke, evenly and level:
"I am pleased to see you are not injured."
It sounds as if he truly means it.
