Kisten smirked as he hung up his cell phone, turning back to wiping down the oak bar and humming pleasantly to himself. He liked working mornings, the quiet, gray light was comfortable, and only a few early-risers who wanted quality breakfast were even in the restaurant. Really just very comfortable. That and Jean-Claude abhorred mornings, so whenever he could proclaim to adore something Jean-Claude did not, it made him smirk.
