If there was one thing Gojyo could appreciate, it was a fluent speaker - he dealt so much with foreigners these days that a pleasant greeting in his native tongue was enough to dispel any ill feelings due to Felix being late.

"Buono sera," he replied cheerfully in return as the other man sat down. "Apologies if my directions weren't clear enough, but I'm glad to see you found the place all right. Shall we order first?"

It was a bit of a send-up admittedly, a change from Gojyo's normal drawl, but this was the formality before the casual. It would all come in time.

"With the smell of coffee here, I don't think I would be able to focus properly without a cup in front of me," he said by way of an agreement. Felix was almost always formal, even with the one person he considered himself close to. There was probably something to be said about him considering that, but it didn't bear thinking on.

"I'm so sorry I was late," he said as he settled a bit more easily in the chair. Crossing his long legs. "I have no idea where my time went." Which was his polite way of saying that he didn't want to divulge details. "I hope I didn't make you wait too long."

"Not long at all, actually, since I live right over there..." Gojyo gestured over his shoulder to the building across the street at the corner. "I hope you didn't have to walk too far."

Gojyo leaned back in his chair and flagged down a waiter. "Frappucino, for myself, and for my friend..." He left it to Felix to answer while Gojyo himself took to studying the man before him.

He took a moment to think it over. A moment that he didn't really need, but took any way. Because, well, why not, really? He used it to glance at the building that Gojyo had indicated and gave it a quick appraising look, before turning his attention back to the waiter. "Double shot of espresso, per favore."

Once the waiter had gone, he turned his different colored eyes to the other man and smiled again. Beneath his rust colored hair, they looked both out of place and just a little bit too perfect, the left one honey gold and the other icy blue. No matter that he was mostly blind in the right one.

"No," he assured Gojyo, folding his arms and fingers absently stroking over the soft fabric of his coat. "It isn't too far from my house either."

"Good to hear." Gojyo was just pulling out his pack of MS cigarettes as the waiter was leaving when he sniffed the air and realized he didn't catch a hint of tobacco from Felix.

"Sorry, do you smoke? Or rather, mind if I do?" It wouldn't do to impose on such a handsome man.

Gojyo, for all his flair online, was relatively muted this evening. He had on a heavy jacket with a hood, for the slightly cooler evening weather and just because he really loved that jacket. Which is why he still had on a loose shirt underneath where he'd normally have worn no shirt at all. As usual, though, his blood-red hair was pulled back in a ponytail, revealing the trademark twin scars on his cheek and his dark red eyes. That, for Gojyo, was muted.

Felix was having a little bit of trouble putting an age to Gojyo. Maybe it was the hair or the eyes, or maybe it was that in their business, one couldn't ever really be certain. He was told often enough that he looked years younger than he was. Giving up on the mental project, Felix pushed it out of his mind.

His eyebrows raised slightly at the question, but the smile stayed on his lips. He looked amused, perhaps a little indulgent, but mostly he looked completely at ease. "I don't, but please don't let that stop you."

The smile, the eyes, the accessories... no wonder yer in the same general business, Gojyo mused to himself as he lit up.

"Thanks, I appreciate it." Gojyo took one long drag and was sure to blow the smoke away from Felix, but kicked up a leg over his other knee and leaned back. This didn't need to be strictly business, after all.

"So... I wish I could say I'm familiar with your work before I ask if you know mine, but alas I think you've managed to stay under my radar this whole time. Pity, really. ♥" Gojyo winked playfully, smiling behind the waiter's arms as he brought the drinks and set them down on the table.
