College is my ticket out of here, and I'm looking at ones in America. Any suggestions? It's got to have a huge sports following so that Charlie will be inclined to visit me once in awhile.

Yes. You can do a lot of different things with an English major.

Yup. Not sure what I'd want to do after that. Maybe become a writer myself, or work in publishing so I can read for the rest of my life.
