Pokemon, MCR and AFI... have nothing in common.

Because sometimes I mishear lyrics, which end in me hearing "Pokemon" in a Disturbed song... which leads me to believe that David Draiman really just wants a Pikachu.

Laura: Someone needs a togepi.
me: Bob. Bob needs a togepi. I do not know why.
Laura: I'm LOLing at the image of Bob holding a Togepi.
me: I imagine him being a little confused... then poking at it with vague interest.
Laura: XD Frank gets a Mew... just because.
me: Cat fetus go! Someone gets a magikarp. JUST BECAUSE!
Laura: Well Gee totally gets a Squirtle, Mikey gets Mr. Mime... Ray can have a Magikarp maybe... NO WAIT DAVEY! Davey gets a magikarp. I'm putting entirely too much thought into this.
me: Why Davey? I say give Jade the magikarp. He can blog about it doing nothing.
Laura: Well Magikarp are generally all shimmery and shiny (they are in the show at least) and well c'mon... davey.
me: Okay yeah, good point.

We eventually decided Jade gets a Ponyta 'cause it's like basement horse... but on fire.

I also swear it sounds like Rob Zombie's saying "would you like an emema" in "Dragula" so just be glad the conversation didn't go that way.

[ETA] Bob, Frank, Gee (Gerard), Mikey and Ray (who apparently gets no Pokemon) are from My Chemical Romance. Davey and Jade are from AFI. Just... as a footnote... XD
