Uh, Donovan... there's something on your...
Okay, so you know how I was talking about going outside my comfort zone and doing something new for pictures? Well... I did. XD This is definitely the weirdest set of pictures I've ever taken. And I'm only posting some of them here, I'll post all of them (24 total, counting the "omake" type pics) later in the onnawafflemafia comm.
If seeing a doll dirty bugs you, don't click. Also, there is resin nudity (butt shot!), but no wang. So yes, these are not work safe.
Had to throw some portraits in there.
Okay... so why? Well kittymaru posted some really lovely pictures, one of them involved her boy with his feet in some nice clear water. So I figured... okay, maybe that'll work. Maybe I'll try that. I've always been iffy about getting too near the ponds (some of you have seen what they used to look like) so even that is doing something new for me. *L* But Donovan was wearing khaki pants so I had to take them off. (Fun fact! He wasn't wearing underwear and right after I took his pants off some guy walked by with his dog and waved. XD Oops!) So I put his feet near the water and they sink in the mud. I take some pictures... move him a little farther... take some more pictures... and it just all went downhill from there. *L* By the time I was done, Donovan was in the pond, and the little fishies seemed very "WTF?!" about it.
And since it may ease some people's minds to know, when I got done I took him apart, shook the water out of him, and put his body pieces in the dollshe bag. I stuffed his clothes in my pocket and carried the pillow from the bag, along with his head back home. He's since been washed, and his elastic was washed in hot soapy water and I'll be giving it a couple of days to really dry before putting him back together. I think I'll give Don a good magic eraser bath before I do that too. Oh, and of course I was very careful to keep his face and wig clean.
It was messy, it killed my back, it made me dizzy but damnit I had fun and did something new... something that will horrify many doll owners. XD
