Sorry I haven't written up my Sunday blessings yet - honestly, I'm still exhausted from the move and I have a cough attacking me again.
Just a quickie:
Went to our DFW Pullip meetup on Saturday and had a lot of relaxing fun at Cafe Express - yummy food and I ate EVERYTHING. Sent Taeyu and Taeshu home with dark_skada to be rechipped with their correct eye colours.
I took Mirin along to the Pullip meetup, hoping the girl with the PKF Ante would show up, but no. We had a few bjds at the meetup, which was fun. Mirin has officially decided SHE is really a HE, especially when HE decided dark_skada's cleavage was a great place to ride around at the restaurant. This means the few girl clothes I have for the newly-chosen HE will need to be sold, so I hope to do an art/clothing barter with xxalicechanxx so I get some of her GORGEOUS artwork (Gravitation, of course) for Ruby Red and Fairyland girl clothes. I'm working up the clothing list from memory since the clothes are at the folks' place.
We gave mmc_ningyouai a ride to the meetup so she was with us when I took Mirin back to my folks' place. I sent Nasake, Drew and Sake home with her to get restrung/kipped. Soy was so distressed about being without Sake (Seriously! You should have seen that tragic face!) I ended up putting him in the doll bag, too. Eventually, most of the Crew will be visiting the Spa for kips/tightening/etc. - it's the barter we worked out for the FL Breakaway event head/arm/hand I got during the FL Event because I knew mel wanted it.
I really prefer bartering now - win-win for everyone involved and no money worries.
Sunday we looked at some houses (liked the first one but the price is a little high), cleaned the apt a bit, took a nap, then rescued dark_skada and J from bad car kharma early in the evening. Gave us a chance to do the rechipping for Taeyu (he looks awesome with his gold eyes - no longer an Andrew!) but the Rayne's eye mech is being a total bitch about letting one of the chips go, even after doing a hot water release thing twice. dark_skada is going to do some more research on what to do but if it comes down to it, I'm willing for her to find an empty eye mech and me pay for it so Taeshu can have his purple eyes. I suspect the company didn't expect anyone to actually mod a Rayne (have to admit - he's hot the way he is!) and glued the bugger within an inch of its life.
