rat's first doll finally arrives - Tifa Lockheart [Elfdoll Special Edition Soah]

We were a bit concerned when Junkyspot mentioned mailing out the Aurora (a limited Soah with elf ears) on their LJ, right after he mailed rat his doll, supposedly the limited Soah with the lavender dress. Had we conveyed which limited Soah we wanted? Would we open the box and see a WS pointy-earred girl? I even lost sleep about it last night.

So here's the box opening - the box was gigantic!







Here's the test - opening the box with the sleeping head - will the resin be the right colour?




Yes it IS! Yay!


Next, we found all the goodies Junkyspot added. First, a chibi tachikoma!

Tifa has double jointed elbows - yay! She looks perfect - just like Tifa in Final Fantasy VII!

rat is happy with the 'temperature indicators', though they're not as sharp as (n)Iplehouse boy nips.


After rat struggled with her shorts, I took over to get them on over those extra-wide Elfdoll hips.


After getting her wig on, we took Tifa outside for her first shoot; she stands like a rock and she's not leaning against the tree!










Then the bad cat showed up, looking for ham...




Finally, a larger verson of one of the photos, with Tifa's name.


He may not show it, but rat is very happy with his first resin doll. She sat on his lap while he browsed the Net.

Now we need to find her some brown eyes and finish off her FFVII clothing.
