update on Tifa - the big one
Well, since I haven't been able to get junkyspot to answer any more emails about the limited Soah (especially since the site has a bunch of new Elfdolls posted), I got rat to look up the phone number (it's not on their site so he had to find it at an online phonebook) and call CA about the Limited Edition Soah.
He got to talk to Emory personally but rat didn't confirm all the info I had painstakingly written in a email for him to discuss, like to make sure the Reminisce head would come with a faceup. It's an option over at Denver Doll so I was worried the head would come blank and any faceup done after wouldn't match well with the open-eyed head.
Honestly, since the doll is limited to only 100, I was worried we'd not be able to get one before she sold out. Yeah, I know Elfdolls aren't as popular as some companies, like Luts, so there wouldn't be such a rush to get one, but I just wanted to make sure we got one because after changing her eyes to brown, she'll be a perfect Tifa Lockheart.
And we wanted to purchase from Emory since he's done us so well with the Dollzone photo contest and sending our Recall prizes two years ago. They're such friendly folks at cons, too.
Anyway, Emory called a little later that night, confirming the Soah would hopefully be coming in next week and the Reminisce head WOULD come with a faceup, too.
Yay! It looks like Tifa may be coming home soon! Another girl to beat up the stinky guys! *laughs*
rat found Tifa shorts with suspenders at Cherrydoll (still waiting for them to arrive) so next is finding her a white tanktop or shortie sleeveless tee shirt. I already have my eyes on some boots by Kon'D for her. I'm going to see what kinds of brown eyes are out there then send rat the links to decide. I think they'll need to be lighter than the usual dark brown eyes I see out there. She comes with Soom eyes so I'm going to check out
I know the poor girl won't wear her beautiful lavender outfit for very long. rat will have her sitting around topless, like Tiny Tifa, so I'll probably have to blush Big Tifa's nipples like I did Tiny Tifa's. If we get her by Xmas, I'll have her wear the lavender for the holiday photo.

Seeing one in-person was really the selling factor for rat. We considered the Hazy but the Soah has that wistful look rat thinks Tifa would have, especially when she thinks about Cloud. I told rat he needed to get a Cloud next and he just looked at me. Then I laughed at him. This Tifa will have Cloud buttons and a stuffed chocobo. I'll get her a tiny Cloud plushie if I can find one for her.
I think she'll need her eyebrows darkened, but until we get her completed with everything else, I'm not thinking too much about it.
I also have a few black wigs with distinctive bangs in mind for her, but I need to confirm her head is smaller than 8-9 before ordering.
We're going for the FFVII outfit first (but with shorts), then slowly work toward the FFVII:AC outfit later.
