The digital camera has been such fun. I shot over 125 shots of a 'fashion show' last night. It was mostly to have a record of Hatori in his new Matt O'Neill clothing - showing how the shirts need to be brought in in the back eventually (if I am feeling unlazy), how one suit fits better than the other, how nice the shoes and pants fit, and working more with Hatori and his poses - he's getting a little less stiff but his body is not jointed as well as the others so he will always be a stoic laddie-boy. He also got some books last night so he is a happy bit of resin.
I had wanted to do this the night before but rat wanted to finish Final Fantasy 6, so that's what we did. I guess that was fate, because yesterday I found out I have a bad case of osteoporosis, really unacceptable for my age group, and will have to start yet another lifestyle change to start building the bones back strong. Doing the doll shoot was a nice diversion from thinking about that. The guys have been therapeutic, even though having packages not being delivered and not having a pink slip left is stressful.
I am debating about sueding Shuichi's hip joint before the con, which is a major flop point. It doesn't help matters when his underwear constantly gets into the groove so I cannot reset his torso without having to dig the material out all the time. He may have to go commando until I can fix him.
Update on the Megi head:
Change has finally contacted me and will be sending me a replacement head, with faceup, to replace the current one, which is too dark and yellow for the rest of the skintone. I will send the old head back when I get the new one. I just hope the faceup details are as good as the one Ulat did. It is really a shame about the dark face because the details are so delicate and pretty.
