V!
Just got back from V. First of all, it was muddy. Very. Ankle deep all the pissing time. We got drenched pitching tents on the first day, although it was rather funny.
Anyway Radiohead, Regina Spektor, The Go! Team, Faithless, Rufus Wainwright and Morrissey were particularly spectacular but Bloc Party, We Are Scientists, Lily Allen, Sugababes, James Dean Bradfield, The Boy Least Likely To, The Young Knives and Divine Comedy were all grand too. I think Regina's set was my favourite. We were right at the front and she was so shy and adorable and she sounded utterly incredible. The crowd were so into it, she got so much applause from such an intimate audience. Also we were stood behind 4 members of the Hollyoaks cast, ha!
There was plenty of boozing, shit, comically expensive food, talking to strangers and getting muddied up. All in all an amazing weekend. Cheers Branson.
