I'm not sure I could ever say I know what the Katrina victims are going through. But I just woke up from a nightmare where the waters were rising around my house. Lizzie and I were the only ones here and we had to grab all the containers we could find, fill them with water, and pack them into backpacks. I was also grabbing flashlights, batteries, food, and my baby blanket. I was scared to death, running around screaming, trying to make sure we got what we needed. Then I woke up and realized that it was a reality for so many people right now.
