i'm lucky ethan came back to ask which train to take, because i changed my mind and went downtown with him. as we stepped off the train i asked a guy with a Rilo Kiley shirt if he had any spare tickets. he said yes, and told me to call him in an hour. Ethan and i walked to the metro and i, humming with public speaking ability, jostled the small gathering with a humble request. a spare ticket showed up, and i never had to ring Ollie. The show was amazing. Jenny Lewis was beautiful, truly. The volume wrecked her voice a little, and at times i could have sworn something was coming out of my ears. Her attitude bested me. Unfortunetly, someone beat me to proposing to her right then and there. Someone also sewed her a dress. Why don't i think of these things?
