"Just hear me out," he replies pleadingly.
"Then talk," she sighs, crosses her arms over her chest. He checks his watch again and she, for a moment, considers that she isn't being entirely fair to him. Slowly she concedes and lightly shakes her head. "Fine, I'll do dinner but I swear to god, Harvey, if it's just a bunch of bullshit then I will make a scene and leave you there to deal with it."
"Understood," he says with an almost unnoticeable sigh of relief, "do you mind if I-?"
"Go," she replies, understanding where he's going with his open-ended question.
She can still feel him in her joints, the air of him crisp as he steals appreciative glances before crossing back across the street the way from which they came and takes off in a a quicker stride than she can remember ever seeing him take before.
