What do you do when it has come to your knowledge that your ex-boyfriend is getting married?
Yes, the bloody fucking scenario has finally happened to me. The horror.
I met up with Silah (our mutual friend) and some other friends for drinks tonight and she unveiled the news to me, in an awkward manner as she didn't know how to break it to me. So he is my only ex-boyfriend, which is also my first boyfriend. We had been together for 11 months (i'm a women, i know the dates) and broke up at the end of 2006 (i initiated). All these details ain't important, what's crucial is what and how do I respond to it.
We don't keep in contact anymore, but he knows I know about it. Like duh..
So what do I do?
Send a congratulatory message through our mutual friend or act like the psycho ex-girlfriend?
I know the exact date of the wedding banquet.
I know where it is being held.
I know someone working there.
*evil laughs*
I could gatecrash the event.. Would Love to see his reaction!
Or, I could act like the gracious ex-girlfriend and pretend I do not know anything about this and just let it pass.
So tell me, what would you do if you were in my shoes?!
On a side note, I wonder which women (must be blind) who has that big a heart to accept him and spend the rest of their lives together.
