1. [Mashiro has been sitting in class all day with a bored expression on her face. She grew up being privately tutored, so a lot of this is just remedial. Now it's break between class periods. She thinks no one's looking, so she gives in and yawns in the hugest and most unqueenly way possible.]
2. [It's lunch time, and Mashiro is spending her lunch period...reading. She's got her nose in a book called The History of Man, and it looks like pretty typical generic 1950s history book fare.]
3. [After school, Mashiro can be found in the park. For once she doesn't look tense, irritated, or overly serious. Instead, she is smiling and playing with a stray kitty cat.]

Someone explain to me what this whole situation was about. Just what exactly have we been pulled into?
