This is the story about a girl who couldn't help herself from choosing men who couldn't give her what she needed. And what's worse, she kept choosing men she merely saw "potential" in, men who sufficiently lacked the heart and strength she desired, men who continually hurt her by providing no loyalty. No one would lay their heart down before her. This was safer because this is what she knew.
But she would place a man on a throne and lavish him with good thoughts, enveloping them in the idea that each had an aura of a gracious, loving, self-giving being. But it was always wishful thinking. It was always like freeing a prisoner and trying to crown him king. They would just not know what to do. In her mind they each were king: She just wanted to follow their lead. But they would not lead. At least not most of the time. They only led her into more self doubt, more insecurities, more fear of loss... what she failed to realize, however, was that this was not their fault. She could not choose a better man till she became a stronger woman herself.
