Raise your hand, those of you who didn't know or didn't care that someone was holding a grudge against you before they forgave you for it today.

Keep your hand up if the forgiveness actually made some difference to you.

noah takes the wheel, forgiveness is overrated, tedium looks like this, needs more wandering

Something you wouldn't know about, I suppose. It's a memory that keeps people angry.

Memories can make people angry? I didn't know that. If the memory says sorry then will they feel better?

Not the memory itself, boy. It's what's inside.

How should I put it... if you remembered that a friend ate your instant noodles before you could have them yourself, you'd most likely hold a grudge against your friend, not against the memory.

Oh.

....But if they said sorry or gave me new noodles or something then it'd be okay.

For you, I suppose that's true enough.

Yeah. Oh, I just remembered I never had any noodles! If I find any do you think I can put ice cream on them?

You could, but I doubt they'd taste very good together.

Try something salty rather than sweet.

Meat's salty? I didn't know that.

It's generally eaten with salt, yes. What have you been eating?
