What are your five favorite canonical romances?
It occurs to me that I don't like canon romance... Anyway, here they are, listed in a random order.
1. Abel Nightroad and Esther Blanchett (Trinity Blood) - I can't stand Esther, but she's just what Abel needs--sweet innocence with a firey core. Plus, she's not afraid to kill for the ones she loves, but he is. They compliment one another.
2. Lady Sakuya and Master Norb (Eureka 7)- Aww. Just... AWWWWWW. <3
3. Phineas and Leelee (Power Rangers: Mystic Force) - I just think it's cute. Plus, I get to make jokes about his facial hair and height...
4. Josephine Eberhart and Walter Kresby (The Stepford Wives 2004) - Complete inverted gender roles, but he's still a man and she's still a woman--she's not masculine and he's not (that) effeminate. Both are strong characters who deeply love each other and their children, and just lose sight of things. They give me the warm fuzzies.
5. Kira Nerys and Odo (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine)- You wouldn't think they'd work, but somehow they do. He's so sensitive and so grumpy, and it seems strange to see Kira, who's been with so many men, with someone who was and is her best friend. But... <33333
