somethingforzoe been working on recently. It's called The Passport Label, and will focus on releasing great Australian bands and artists in the UK, hopefully raising their profile and getting them a bit of exposure over here.

Press Release : Introducing The Passport Label
Australians are a typically patriotic bunch. They're fiercely proud of their local music scene but they also love to travel and experience new places.
It is this ethos that inspired the formation of THE PASSPORT LABEL - a new outlet for Australian music in the UK. With several years experience working with independent record labels in both countries, and frustrated by the amount of quality Australian music overlooked internationally, native Melbournian Zoe White decided to take matters into her own hands.
THE PASSPORT LABEL was established in order to raise the profile of Australian artists in Britain. It aims to give them greater access and exposure to one of the biggest and most influential music markets in the world.
The first artist to join THE PASSPORT LABEL is Melbourne based LOVE OF DIAGRAMS. The first international release for the band will be a strictly limited 7" single "No Way Out". LOVE OF DIAGRAMS will be in the UK in November for their debut British gigs.
---------------
So yeah, come the end of November, Love of Diagrams will be over in London for about a week, playing a few dates (times and places as yet unfinalised) around and about . If you're in town, you should come. You should bring your friends too. And there'll be a 7" out too, which everyone should buy as it's great. There's only going to be about 500 of them, and hopefully they'll all sell out pretty quickly if Zoe can get a bit of a buzz going. We reckon we can get it onto radio, and maybe even a video onto MTV2 or something... :)
There will be a website up soon at
www.thepassportlabel.com, but in the meantime there are mp3's at
www.loveofdiagrams.com or
