Hayley hadn't tried to track down the girl from yesterday. For one thing, she was sporting a black eye and her face still ached from the blow she'd taken. She was a semi-trained professional vigilante, but even then she'd been caught completely off guard.
By a girl who said she was Hayley's daughter, and...
She shook her head, sitting down on the front steps with a bottle of beer. It wasn't her responsibility. It wasn't her kid. She couldn't possibly have a kid with Bianca, Bianca was dead and they were both girls. It just couldn't happen. So whatever that evil brat did wasn't on her. It wasn't her fault.
She took a swig of the beer and wiped away a tear from her cheek. This wasn't fun, not like when she'd been in high school still.
[ooc: Expecting two, open chronologically before that thread with them both.]
