... is seriously starting to get on my nerves.

There's nothing I can do here! The one time we've been attacked, I've been helpless. No sword, no magic, nothing. They make us hallucinate, they keep us penned up here, hurt my friends ( Read more... )

I know it's hard, but it dwelling too much on the people who aren't present any more doesn't make staying here any easier, friend.

It is when it's the only damn way I can remember them.

Screaming death or relentless boredom. I don't know which I prefer either.

...What's the big deal? Supposedly when people disappear they get sent home, right? You should be happy.

Not when people getting sent home hurts friends I've got who're still here. Dammit, Atem and Toshi were engaged... And she'd just been back for a few weeks...

Well then, Atem should be happy Toshi's safe. This is a prison, not a social club.

Really?

If you had somebody you cared about here - already here, I mean - would you rather have them sent home without you, or stay here with you?

And if you can honestly say you'd rather they were sent home and you had to stay here, you're a lot more selfless than anyone I've ever met.

Etna's lucky she got out of here.

Then you can join the club. Complaining about it won't do any good, though.
