I met a boy named Nick yesterday, and we talked about Washington. He read my shirt and said, "I know where Peshastin is. I've been through there a lot. I almost worked in Wenatchee at the Macy's there." And we talked about the people in Wenatchee, how Wenatchee was supposedly going to be the next big place for music in the state, and the gothic teenagers and their "Satanic beliefs". He said, "It's pretty ridiculous to found a religion on the antithesis of another religion." Our state is full of ridiculous things, but it's okay, because even so, there are plenty of people that can actually think for their own selves.

And if you're my friend, chances are, you're one of those lucky people.
