Watching the days burning out like a cigarette, just a few drags to go...
Time is going sooo fast! I can't believe it's already November. Before I know it I'll be catching my plane down to Florida!
So yesterday, I woke up with an even worse sore throat then the day before. I went to my first class which seemed to take forever and then I went to the Student Health Center. Turns out I have strep throat. Now if Kyle doesn't get it, I'll be amazed. Kyle and I were all over each other on Tuesday and Wednesday while he was here. But hey, it was worth it. After I got back from the doctors I started packing up my stuff to head home for the weekend cause I got a doctors note to get out of the rest of my classes for the week. The best part about it was that last night I was supposed to give a presentation that I hadn't even started and now I have 2 extra weeks to do it. I knew something good would come out of this. I got home around 2 and went to sleep until 5. Mommy brought me home some WonTon soup from Best Food in Town. The broth felt so good on my throat. For the rest of the night I just watched TV and napped.
I woke up at 8:30 this morning and I've been on the couch ever since. I must have had about 15 cough drops but they work, along with all my antibiotics. Talking to Kyle made my day and I also got a message from Lindsay on my away message..."I miss you, pookie" What a geek? But I MISS YOU TOO!!! I miss Meg too. I felt bad leaving her at the apartment alone cause I know she hates it but I didn't want my roomie to get sick. I can't wait to bring Lindsay back to South Jersey for the weekend. She thinks Glassboro is the boonies, wait til she sees Mays Landing, lol. I totally got her hooked on Sugar Hill tuna fish...wait until she has a cheesesteak or something, it'll be all over. I miss her!!! Well, I think my couch is missing me and so is my TV. OOOO and I also have a date with Ben and Jerry's CHUNKY MONKEY!!!!
