Soooo...I've been away a while now. I'll try to summarise everything that happened, but I think there may have just been too many things. Forgive me if I forget stuff. and I'm way too lazy to photoshop out all of the redeyes. Just imagine everybody being a little less demonic-looking.

Nantucket

This is the house that I stayed in. They have a whole spare house for guests.

The first day I got there, it was Andrew's birthday. He hadn't told me, and I was sooo mad/embarassed. We went out for birthday dinner anyway.

That's Andrew's sister sitting opposite me. Look at the pants of the guy sitting next to her! HA.

We all went out on the boat and drank beer, which was sooo much fun. I got to drive it for like 30 seconds until all the boys decided I was too rubbish.
While on the boat I said "My, she was yar" about 10.4385 bajillion times. Anyone who knows what that's a reference to gets 12 bibi-cool gold stars.

We went to the Tennis Club for Independence Day. It was very, very Gilmores-esque. Fanciest cookout of my life, like being in a Ralph Lauren catalogue, but with balloon animals.

Andrew and I had a romantic beach picnic. That's a superfancy bottle of champagne next to, um, the French's mustard and Heinz ketchup. (juxtaposition, much?)

It started raining in Nantucket and wouldn't stop, so we were trapped in the house playing Scrabble and doing crosswords for two days. We got bored and decided to leave so we went to...

Bedford, which is out in the country in upstate New York.

The place is designed for fun. Lots of lego, a trampoline, a really deep pool and the best rope swing I've ever seen.

New York

I apparently didn't take many photos in New York. I guess I was too busy, or something. I went for dinner with a bunch of the people that I met on the boat, which was lovely.

Andrew & I went to a Yankees game. I am now an absolute expert on baseball. Ask me anything. I ate a hotdog.

Andrew had to go to Boston one morning so I went to the Chanel exhibit at the Met by myself. If there's anything that will guarantee to make you feel like you're dressed like a bum, it's a Chanel exhibit. I spent pretty much the rest of the day/rest of my life lamenting my lack of evening gowns.

On Thursday we got Starbucks and drank it on a bench in Central Park then we went out for brunch and then to H&M and Barney's. It was pretty much the best day of my life.

On our way out for dinner on the aforementioned 'best day of my life'

Now I'm home. I'm happy to be home, I suppose, but I'm sad that he's not here. He's going to visit next month, though, so that's something to look forward to.

and also, more importantly, the Harry Potter book comes out today. That's something to really look forward to. wee.
