So, while Mia is attempting to drag her brain out of inactivity and staring in horror at her pile of half-finished tl;dr tags...Comment here, and I'll reply with what Uni thinks of your character -- or, if they haven't met yet, what she would probably think about him/her. (This might be especially useful if you'd like to log or plot.) I'll date

♠ Light
Okay, let's assume her agents have gotten his files to her by now.
Uni's familiar with Light's type; young, idealistic officers from a privileged background. She's met quite a few in her time and actually had to dodge several proposals from families who wanted to... ally themselves with the Giglio Nero. She doesn't dislike that type, used to be a little amused by their fumbling flattery (so different from the assured charm of men like Byakuran), and usually humors their expectations by acting (even in her current position as a mere healer aboard a mercenary ship) as a perfectly courteous lady would, but nothing more. She knows better than to take anything young officers say seriously.
But... she's wondering if maybe he might be an exception. He certainly seems more intelligent than the average academy graduate, and his eloquence isn't all that common. There's that small matter, too, of totally acing his exams. She likes him, in her indifferent sort of Uni way, but apart from his being intelligent he doesn't really ping her. It's probably the charming courtesy; she's inured to that because of a whole host of reasons. So she dismisses it, and while she thinks that all his lofty ideals are nice, she's rather sadly anticipating the time they get crushed by the wheel of life.
Hmmm. Totally unsuspecting. Get to it, Light.
♠ Kira
Ah, this is... a little more complicated. On one hand, she intensely dislikes how he hacked into what was supposed to be a private conversation and threw her mistakes into her face. On the other, she's grateful that if someone was to intercept that message, it at least appears to be someone who...
...who... well. She doesn't quite know what to think. He isn't like any of the other people she knows, enemy or not. To be fair, she isn't quite as creeped out by the whole thing -- she's known Byakuran for years, this kind of creepiness is nothing new -- as puzzled by why he's talking to her about this when everyone before has just bypassed her and gone straight to her master. Why is he speaking as if she has a choice, as if she could do anything? She gave up the capacity to act years ago. But she supposes that, at least, if he said he would listen -- he would. It's an oddly comforting thought, because even Uni sometimes needs a respite from silence.
And then the way he mirrored her. The way she adapted to him. Uni wonders vaguely whether she molded her responses to her perception of the other person because he's very much like Byakuran -- or whether she's been taught so well how to be what is needed that she just responds, no matter who the situation. The conversation has made her think, for the first time in her life, about the possibility that maybe she hasn't been trained to serve Byakuran, just to serve as a weapon, and that terrifies her.

Light is now looking forward to dissuading that notion, as he has become rather fond of their conversations and would like to continue them. Over tea, perhaps? ^_^
