So, while Mia is attempting to drag her brain out of inactivity and staring in horror at her pile of half-finished tl;dr tags...Comment here, and I'll reply with what Uni thinks of your character -- or, if they haven't met yet, what she would probably think about him/her. (This might be especially useful if you'd like to log or plot.) I'll date ( Read more... )

Ffffff let's see /thinkthinkthink

If he'd met her in Bellcius back when she was still heading Giglionero Corp. and was known fondly as the "princess" of the Giglio Nero, the Lady of the Black Lily, Uni wouldn't have given him a second glance. She'd have looked through him because that's what would have been expected of her -- and then found a way to apologize/make up for it later, since even though she's fully aware that her corporation's stock value might suffer if she's seen speaking with a demihuman, and thus would have to act according to that, it doesn't mean that she agrees with Ivonan society's general prejudice.

That was then, though. Now... it's a little less clear. Uni would be polite to him, certainly, but she wouldn't give him any opportunities to get to know her better either. His conversation, depending on its directness, would either go riiiiight over her head (she doesn't acknowledge the fact that some people might think her pretty, since the question of her beauty is nonexistent except when it can be used as a tool) or be deflected with the sort of exquisite courtesy she learned in the sitting rooms and salons of upper-class Ivonan society. He'd have better luck talking to her once he starts talking about death, strangely enough. Uni doesn't show it very often, but she does have a morbid streak. It comes from having been trained as a poisoner.

She'd be much more interested upon learning of his Jager background and his more... murderous leanings. Not because she'd want to recruit him into her or Byakuran's personal army (he can do that himself, she figures, and it's really not her role) but because, for one thing, she's an instrument herself. Someone who's practically been created for a very specific purpose. She has a keen interest in the way other lords and masters create and use their tools.

There's also another reason, though it's probably not one she'd ever admit (she might not even be conscious of it in the first place). Before Byakuran, Uni was surrounded by a cadre of guards utterly devoted to her -- perfect bodyguards, and though she might not quite be able to put her finger on it when she sees it, Uni recognizes one who's been created to serve another with that strange sort of insight that directs her thoughts from time to time.
