I'm thinking I want to grow out my hair a good 4 or 6 inches. It's currently a couple inches past my collarbone, and I want it to be long enough that I can donate it to Locks of Love (10 in) or the Pantene one (8 in) and still have a feminine style that I can pull out of my face for running, capoeira, etc.
But when my hair gets longer than where it is now, it starts hurting. Stylists always tell me I have a lot of thick hair, and I definitely start agreeing with them when it starts giving my tension headaches and neckaches.
Anyway, various people who read this have known me at basically every stage of my life, and I'm wondering if you guys have any advice on what hair style is flattering on me. I want something that's manageable for law school, feminine enough to live in the South next year, and sort of multi function enough to go from law internship to the gym (ie. not a pixie cut or butt-length hair.)
Help?
