Favorite Life on Mars episode(s): Gah, that's even harder. 1.1, 1.2, 1.4, 1.6, 2.2, 2.5, 2.7... Favorite Life On Mars ships: I read both Sam/Gene and Sam/Annie, but I'm a huge gen fan. If I'm allowed to have a gen OTP, then Sam & Gene are it. Favorite Life on Mars quote: Is it possible to have just one? Okay, one favorite of many is the exchange at the end of 1.2, when Gene puts up that The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly Poster. Sam says, "Which one are you?" and Gene says, "All three."
Other fandoms: Due South has consumed a rather frightening amount of my reading and lurking time, of late. I used to spend a lot of time around the Good Omens and Harry Potter fandoms, and most recently I've discovered Battlestar Galactica. There's been a lot of Ashes to Ashes flailing at my LJ in the past week, so I suppose that counts. I also wander around Doctor Who and the Buffyverse, and am hugely fond of Slings and Arrows fic, when I can find it. And I consider myself a proud member of the mostly hypothetical I, Claudius fandom. Ships: Again, I'm a huge gen fan, though I do seem to have a vast number of Fraser/Kowalski fic bookmarked. I also like Fraser/Kowalski/Vecchio, Kara/Leoben, Geoffrey/Ellen, and various canon pairings. What's in your journal? RL whining, pre-grad school angst that will soon be plain old grad school angst, anthropology, archaeology and osteology related musings (see above re: grad school), random observations involving Roman history and Latin literature, fandom stuff, memes, and my fanfiction, most of which is Life on Mars. But mostly whining. What kind of friend are you looking for? Any kind of friend! More specifically, I'm always happy to have more Life on Mars fans on my f-list, and if you share any of my other fandoms, it's a nice bonus.
