Last night we watched Dawn of the Dead
How come all Zombie movies basically end the same exact way?
And how come, knowing that going in, we still flock to see Zombie movies?
The characters always overcome hordes of teeming undead using only their wits--such as they are--puny handguns and high explosives only to escape just in time from a sea of creepy crawlies with a taste for human flesh.
As the movie winds down, and the survivors all take a minute to breathe and celebrate their good fortune to be the last remaining members of the human race with a pulse, SURPRISE...they all die anyway.
So...the moral of the story is...the first time a loved one goes cold and then tries to chew off your face...let them. Because wouldn't you rather feed someone you love, than a random ghoulie that just happened to run that much faster than you?
edit:: And to all of you for whom I've now ruined the end of this movie for...umm...Bruce Willis is a ghost in The Sixth Sense, the chick's really a guy in The Crying Game and all of the people in the hotel are different personalities in Identity. Also, the kid is faking it in Primal Fear.
Did I miss anything?
