Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is she heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
Lucy is 5'8" and while fairly thin, she's deceptively heavy for it - as she has muscle rather than much anything else.
2. How old is she?
Twenty-seven. (No, really. She's the older sibling.) Twenty-eight on the twenty-eighth of May. :)
3. Describe her posture. Does she carry herself well or does she slouch?
It depends on the situation - with friends she'll slouch or sprawl out, and with superiors or in situations where she doesn't have the upper hand or even a level playing field, she'll be more attentive to her posture.
4. How is her health? Is she fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
Girl is fiiit. She works out a lot, and while she's not huge or ridiculously muscle-bound, you can tell she takes care of herself.
5. How does she move? Is she clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
Fluid, but not really graceful or clumsy - middle ground. She's very flaily, though, and that tends to be a little more weird and jerky.
6. How attractive is this character physically? How does she perceive herself in the mirror?
She's very pretty! She has a 'girl next door' sort of charm to her looks that is dispelled as soon as she starts trolling you mercilessly. Her self-esteem is good - she thinks she's pretty and that's just fine with her. Sometimes she'll say stupid things like 'damn, I am the cutest ever,' but she's not overly vain and it's all joking.
7. Describe her complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
She has a nice mix of the Irish and Italian blood in her - she's light but not pale, and she has the ability to tan if she so chooses. As far as scars go, all she has so far is various childhood things, from being rough-and-tumble rather than um, prissy. As she gets older and deeper into her career, she'll have a lot more, and for a lot worse reasons.
8. Describe her hair: color, texture, style.
Her hair is a dark chestnut brown, mid-back length at the longest layer, thick, and naturally wavy if she doesn't straighten it. It curls with little coaxing, and she has straight-cut bangs.
9. What color are her eyes?
Brown.
10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
Not particularly - she's pretty, but a little average.
11. What are her chief tension centers?
Hands, neck, shoulders and spine. She tenses very easily, and if it gets too bad her entire body turns into one big ball of ick.
12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does she have six of the same suit?
EVERYTHING UNDER THE SUN. She wears a lot of jeans and pajamas and uh, during the summer bathing suits forever because she is a California beach bum at heart, but she has things for other situations - from cute little dresses for parties to a Princess Daisy costume from that one Halloween (there is also a full zombie outfit, complete with props. Lord only knows why she needs a shovel sticking out of her chest.).
13. Do her clothes fit well? Does she seem comfortable in them?
They fit well but they're not specifically tailored - the sizes vary a lot because she's not brand-loyal, but she makes sure they fit and if she's not comfortable wearing it, it's not in her closet.
14. Does she dress the same on the job as she does in her free time? If not, what are the differences?
She's a student currently, so ... pajamas, uhhh. When she joins the force she'll have her NYPD uniform, and once she has reached the same level of insanity as her father, she will ... no longer wear uniforms (just please no wife beaters, honey).
15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando?
COMMANDO, no I'm kidding. She has something like three huge ridiculous drawers full of cute, pretty, WHY DO YOU HAVE THAT JESUS CHRIST, etc etc undies. No one ever SEES them but her, but they make her feel pretty and that's all that matters.
Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
Middle of the road - it gets higher when she's upset, and tends to crack.
2. How does she normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does she talk easily, or does she hesitate?
Evenly, but if she gets excited it'll be louder and faster (that's what she said). It all comes easily, unless she's nervous - which doesn't happen TOO often.
3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
This was actually a big thing! When Live Free or Die Hard came out, people ACTUALLY WONDERED why Mary Elizabeth Winstead didn't affect a more New Jersey or even New York accent for the role, but the answer is simple - Lucy McClane has lived in California almost her entire life, and a few years at college in Jersey isn't going to change that. So she sounds Californian! She also has a tendency to draaag out her vowels, which was actually something she started affecting on purpose when she was in the City, but now it's stuck and she does it naturally.
4. What language/s does she speak, and with how much fluency?
English - she knows a little Spanish and even less French, but she wants to learn more. :(
5. Does she switch languages or dialects in certain situations?
No.
6. Is she a good impromptu speaker, or does she have to think about her words?
When she does impromptu speaking, it invariably ends up something utterly ridiculous, so it's better if she thinks about it.
7. Is she eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?
She can be eloquent if she tries - but she's ... well, she's a McClane, essentially, and she doesn't bother. She sounds average most of the time.
Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is she book-smart or street-smart?
Lucy is very smart! It's both book-smart and street-smart, and while she's not a genius she can hold her own.
2. Does she think on her feet, or does she need time to deliberate?
She thinks on her feet - she has to, and she takes after her father.
3. Describe the character's thought process. Is she more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
Both. She'll make a logical decision when the time calls for it, but if she needs to she'll go with her gut. As for otherwise, she's fairly practical.
4. What kind of education has the character had?
Normal middle-class American college student - good schools, and she's been in college now since the dawn of time, I'm sure that got really expensive, gj Lucy.
5. What are her areas of expertise? What, if anything, is she interested in learning more about?
Law! Also being a troll. She wants to learn more languages and just more about the world as a whole.

Extrovert.

Ohhhh my goodness, baby girl needs to get on some meds (no). She has the biggest mood swings in the land, but mostly they're justified. She has a VERY fiery temper and isn't afraid to show it - to anyone, really. It's just how she is.
8. How does she respond to new people or situations? Is she suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
She's totally okay with new people and situations - she's relaxed and enthusiastic unless she has a very obvious need to be otherwise.

Act.

Fight.

SHE HATES PRANKS (I'm lying). She will actually troll all the live-long day if someone will let her, so no one should. Ever. She thinks a lot of things are funny, even if other people don't, and she has a dark sense of humor in times of crisis - it comes with the territory.

N...o.
13. What moments in this character's life have defined her as a person?
Oh, wow. Haha, there are a few - The first time she thought John and Holly weren't coming home, when her parents got divorced, when she decided to be a cop, when she was kidnapped, when her father saved her, when she went to the City, when she found the Nexus! I could go on for a while, fyi.
14. What does she fear?
Losing the people she cares about. Other than that, not much.
15. What are her hopes or aspirations?
TO BE THE BEST THAT SHE CAN BE. No, really.
16. What is something she doesn't want anyone to find out about her?
She is the biggest daddy's girl in the la- no, wait. That she has a very tender, soft side - she gets attached to people easily, and she doesn't like knowing that people could use that against her.
Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with her parents.
... Ohhh, boy. Lucy has had a very normal relationship with her mother - there's no surprise there. Her father though, she's had a love-hate relationship with since she was young, because she blamed him for a lot of their family's problems. Now though, she feels like she understands him better - she loves him, more than anyone else, and the fear of losing him is one of the defining factors in a lot of the things she does. However, this doesn't stop her from being awful to him by bringing tall men with oddly-colored eyes to her graduation ceremony.
2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like?
Her younger brother! They love each other, but there is a lot of trolling going on here (noticing a trend?). However, Lucy trusts JJ with her life, and with her secrets - she tells him things she's still scared to tell their parents.
3. Are there other blood relatives to whom she is close? Are there ones she can't stand?
Not really.
4. Are there other, unrelated people whom she considers part of her family? What are her relationships with them?
A lot of her closest friends - she treats them like she would family, so she sees them like they are.

I am ngl, Remy is pretty much her closest friend atm. She absolutely adores him; they met in the City and she trusts him and trolls him and etc and makes him make kissing booths of horror.

People she cares about - like Faye, Brody, so on and so forth. Moar adoration.
7. Does she make friends easily, or does she have trouble getting along with people?
She actually makes friends fairly easily - she's very friendly unless you're socially inept.

They hold similar weight, but her family is more important.

Single? Ish? She was dating Matt in the City but now... not so much, haha? So she just flirts with people.

I could actually kind of make a timeline on this, god. Her earliest was a boy in her third grade class, though. THE LATEST ONE I'M NOT TELLINGGGG.

She has to be able to trust them, THEY HAVE TO HAVE (figurative) BALLS, NGL. Intelligence, and ... don't be a creeper, please.

AHAHAHA um everyone that hates her dad, basically. LIFE SUCKS FOR A MCCLANE.

Maaaybeee a 1.5 at most? She will do body shots off of other girls (ahem) if the need arises because hey, liquor, but she wouldn't do much else.
16. How does she feel about sex? How important is it to her?
Uhm it is apparently not very important at all, actually. A NICE THING BUT NOT NECESSARY? She is actually um, NOT EXPERIENCED AT ALL past heavy petting and makeouts, surprise.
17. What are her turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits?
'Weird bedroom habits,' haha. For someone with such a strong personality, she's... not passive in relationships etc, but she's ... v. laid back and goes with the flow until something makes her uncomfortable. IDK YOU GUYS I DON'T HAVE MUCH TO GO ON HERE.
Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac of choice) sign? How well does she fit type?
Lucy is a Gemini and a Rooster or a Snake, depending on if you go by year or date. Only a few aspects of the Chinese zodiac fit, but her western sign, Gemini, is pretty spot on - down to the uh, dual personalities.
2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in her life?
Technically she is Irish Protestant (which, while she is American of Irish (and Italian) descent, the term still fits as she is a descendant of Scots-Irish emigrants that just so happened to be Protestant. THE MORE YOU KNOW.), however, it's only in title and she's not practicing - the last time she's been to church she was seven.
3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it?
Oh my god okay. Basically 'if you're doing something wrong I will fuck you up, but only in my own universe or if you mess with my friends and family.' She feels very strongly about right and wrong though - and it would take a LOT to compromise it, I'm talking a gun to her brother's head here with NO OTHER OPTION.
4. How does she regard beliefs that differ from hers? Is she tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent?
She's quite tolerant - she figures that as long as you're not hurting anyone else and what you believe makes you happy, then so be it.
5. What prejudices does she hold? Are they irrational or does she have a good reason for them?
Uhm she doesn't like zombies.
Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is she rich, poor, comfortable, in debt?
She is a poor student, basically - but her parents pay for a lot, and her dad is nice and gives her spending money. :(
2. What is her social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected her?
Middle-class. She's fine with that, and it's been like that all along.
3. Where does she live? House, apartment, trailer? Is her home her castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does she share it with others?
An apartment that right now is just a place to crash - it's nice but it's not home, and her room mate is a bitch so she'd rather be other places.
4. Besides the basic necessities, what does she spend her money on?
COFFEE also booze and candy. Yeah, idk.
5. What does she do for a living? Is she good at it? Does she enjoy it, or would she rather be doing something else?
Current: She's uh, good at being a student, yeah. Future: She is a McClane, what kind of cop do you think she is going to be.
6. What are her interests or hobbies? How does she spend her free time?
VIDEO GAMES. She is actually kind of a closet nerd! But not so closeted anymore since people found out she actually beats people's asses at Halo.
7. What are her eating habits? Does she skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods?
She takes care to eat healthy most of the time, but she's been slipping in regards to snacking etc, and she drinks alcohol very often - it's a vice, what can I say.
