Background:-

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belarus (This is more for culture, as politically Belarus does not seem to have much in common with her real life counterpart.)
Personality:Brother is important. So, so, very important.
Belarus only holds compassion for one person: Brother. To say that her older brother Russia is "important" to her would be an enormous understatement, as it is very clear that Belarus' sole motivation for most of her actions involve Russia in one way or another. Her love for her brother is most certainly unrequited, but Belarus herself doesn't mind at all; continuing to stalk and harass him as if his displays of fear and depression do not exist. While this appears to be an extreme case of denial from Belarus', she holds no thought in it at all and swiftly ignores her brother's reactions as if they are not there altogether. She is persistent, and determined, very much convinced that one day, yes, he will love her back, and yes they will marry. After all brother must know what is best for him, correct?
To everyone else, Belarus presents herself as a cold girl with a abrasive atmosphere. Her one-track-mind is an extreme roadblock to her social capabilities, as she holds absolutely no interest in forming relations beyond Russia. Despite this however, Belarus has two "positive" relationships; one is with her older sister Ukraine who she respects and views almost in a motherly sense, having been often taken care of by her growing up--and the other America, someone who she briefly looked up to and saw as an older brother figure after the fall of the Soviet Union. Beyond these two examples, Belarus' holds an air of indifference to those around her--with one exception: Lithuania.
While it seems that his unrequited infatuation with her should be one that Belarus finds familiar and empathizes with, this is not the case and it is very clear that she cannot stand him. Despite her rejection of him since youth, he still tries to catch her affection by has propositioning her on many occasions--incidents that usually end in substantial physical harm to Lithuania. For example, the one time she humored his offer for a date, she brought it to a quick end by breaking all of his fingers. Interests outside of Russia do not exist, and she does not respond kindly to offers that suggest she should entertain the thought of anything else.
Overall, when it comes to Belarus what you see is what you get. She does not feign kindness or sympathy; instead she is harsh and can appear be very cruel (though in reality that is unbridled honesty). Her actions are direct, while her words are blunt--Belarus does not even attempt to skirt around the point, and it is obvious she has no goal of deception or sly manipulation in any way, shape, or form. There just isn't much mystery to Belarus, except maybe why she is so deeply in love with Russia.
Abilities:Aside from being able to properly wield a knife Belarus has no other notable abilities.
