[Gippal hasn't given up trying to open his communicator.]

Anybody familiar with this machina...machine? I'm trying to get into this thing. But so far no good. Just wondering if anybody's got an idea of how to pop it open. If you do, I'll be down gettin food.

The communicator thing.

I have not actually attempted to disassemble it.

You may have better luck if you managed to obtain a cutting device from one of the engineers. Though they are not particularly forthcoming with their tools, unfortunately.

Well I don't want to cut the stuff inside of it. I just need to crack the shell enough to pry it open.

It is quite possible to cut through the casing without destroying the inner workings.
