The oddest thing happened to me the other day while I was in the park.... I was reading my book when suddenly a large, colorful bird perched right beside me. It just stared at me for a few moments before saying "Bye" and flying off again...... I doubt it's native to the area. Is anyone missing a pet, possibly?

Oh, and if anyone needs to speak with me- I won't be at the Inn. I'm mostly out around the city or park now. The fresh air is wonderful.

Izumi's Cocolate Cookies~

Ingredients
*1/2 cup margarine
*1/2 cup white sugar
*1/4 cup brown sugar
*1 egg
*1 tsp vanilla
*1 cup flour
*1/2 tsp salt
*1/4 cup unsweetened coconut shavings
*1/2 cup dark chocolate chunks (or normal chocolate chips if you like. I just find if you break apart a brick of it yourself it's better presentation. It doesn't have to be dark chocolate either- I just like the taste better than milk chocolate.)

Cream margarine and sugars; add egg and vanilla. Add flour, baking soda and salt then mix. Stir in coconut shavings and chocolate. Drop onto an ungreased cookie sheet (don't grease the sheet, there is enough butter for you not too). Bake at 375 degrees F for 8 to 10 minutes. Let cool.

Store cookies by wrapping them in wax paper and placing them in the freezer. It keeps the chewy texture instead of them getting hard and crunchy.

((Yes, this is a real recipe I made. *stupid baking fanatic* Anyone is free to try it out if they like. ;D ))
