(no subject)
so my string of 8 hour shifts are over yaaaaay. i actually worked nine hours yesterday and had about half of the monetary sales for the department...over $5k worth of stuff, so that's good, i don't wanna be the new girl that can't sell anything. best buy was crazy. people were waiting with those little restaurant things that they give you when they don't have a table for you (that blink and vibrate) to get into the computer department to look at computers. just to enter the department and look at them. they had it roped off. that's crazy.
tony and i went to last call friday night...hahaha that was fun...apparently i get pretty talkative when i'm slightly inebriated. by the way, tony is better than a fake id, since he looks like he's in his mid-20s, the bartenders assume i'm about the same, and as long as i rub my stamp off, it's all good.
some people in the department (including a 39-year-old with 4 kids that was a little too eager for me to go) were going downtown last night and asked me to go but i was just too tired...i couldn't feel the bottom of one of my feet from so much standing...so i didn't go. tony made homemade soup and cornbread and it was mighty yummy and then we just watched a dvd. it was very nice. i was so tired.
only a 4 hour shift today (hallelujah) and then tony and i are going to atlanta for the anger management tour (don't ask) and also a trip to, possibly, ikea.
