I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENED.
I DID THE MOST MORTIFYING THING EVER TODAY.
I have morning dance practice at 7 AM, so I pick up my friend at 6:45. I show up at her house. She doesn't come down. I call her about 5 times. No answer. Finally, I ring the doorbell.
Her mom answers and tells me she doesn't think Meghan is up yet. "Sorry if you're late."
Her mom looks at her clock. It's 2:45 AM, not 6:45.
I say, "This is awkward. Sorry if I woke you up."
To make things more awkward, Meghan's mother? She's my boss.
I told her I'd see her in another 4 hours and drove back home.
And that was my morning.
