STATUATORY RAPE?
WHAT ARE THE STATUATORY RAPE-TYPE LAWS IN CANADA? I've read different things, and I am very confused. I know this sounds realllly random, but its about this fanfic I'm reading. Girl is 16, guy is 22. Yet they're saying its only illegal because he is her workplace superior? Is this just some serious fiction? What is the age of consent, etc? It was consentual sex, obviously. From what I've read, as the 22 years old is more that 2 years older than the 16 year old, it is a crime? Or have I read wrong? Or is this fanfic author on drugs? But not I've just read the age of consent is 14? I AM STILL CONFUSED. THANKS.
