TONIGHT'S EPISODE OF GLEE WAS THE BEST YET!
Officially my favorite show on television.
It's just the funniest thing ever. When Finn got slushied in the first scene! And then went to Emma the guidance councler with girlfriend/baby mama Quinn to ask her advice on how to be cool! And Emma asked why it was important for them to be popular, and Quinn talked about how status is like currency and "My mom put 'being popular' as her number one extra cirricular activity on her college applications..." And then Emma, not paying attention, comments that sunglasses are so hot and covers by suggesting they where sunglasses all the time, like celebrities. AND THEN THEY DO. They walk around the school with sunglasses on and talk about how it's OK to want to be popular and all they want is to be liked. Oh, man. I almost peed laughing.
And Will Schuster has gotten so hot! I mean, he always was, but singing Bust A Move and the Thong Song, and dancing the way he does all in one episode! And dancing with Emma to I Could Have Danced All Night was the SWEETEST THING EVER!
And Puck is super hot! And he narrates part of the episode, and talks about how easy it was to get Rachel to make out with him. And meanwhile, Rachel's imgagining Finn. And then she tells Puck that she can't do this, and that how could she expect Puck to keep up with her high maintenance personality if he can't even sing lead in glee? And he says: "Are you questioning my badassness? Have you seen my guns?" And then the next day at Glee he sings Sweet Caroline to her and it's beautiful! And then he gets slushied and she cleans the slushie off his head and he says that the worst part is the humiliation and he could just cry at any moment! They would have made such a cute couple for more than just the one episode... I understand that I'm supposed to want Rachel and Finn to be together, and I do, and even though I like Quinn, I admit that the whole lying about who the baby daddy is unforgiveable... Where was I? Oh, right, even though blah, blah, blah, I think it would have been a nice little change if they had stayed together because why should Rachel wait for Finn to notice her? She can do better. But a BETTER couple would be Puck and Kurt! The writers should make that happen. Or at least give Kurt an effing boyfriend. He can't be the only quasi-open gay kid in the school.
