Twitter is down! AAAHHH! I spent MINUTES of my life carefully planning a clever tweet about Confessions of a Shopaholic the movie in 140 characters (or less) and it won't send! On my phone OR on the web site (which won't even load). And now I can never get those minutes back. This is how my twitter SHOULD read now:
marcinkiewicz is watching Confessions of a Shopaholic. The only similarity to the book: the title. Sophie Kinsella, how could you let this happen?
Srsly, though. What is this shit? I knew I'd be disappointed but I wanted to give it a chance anyway. Mistake. My advice: Don't waste your time.
Oh, but read the books! They're the sweetest, most hilarious, wonderful, charming books ever!
Aaand today I got Sophie Kinsella's newest novel, Twenties Girl. So excited to start reading it. Although, I was kind of in the middle of Lord of the Rings: Return of the King and if I put it down it may be another year before I pick it back up again.. I have three days off in a row, though, so I can do both.
Also, I need goals for this week, since it worked so well last week. (I achieved 2 of the 6 goals, but I might not have done any had I not set them!)
(1) Take HQ survey thingy for discounted benefits for next fiscal year. (Deadline: 8/28. That's Friday! Yikes. Better do it tomorrow.)
(2) Lay out/tan/read. (Tomorrow.)
(3) Call modern eye about glasses. (Tomorrow.)
(4) Return unwanted merchandise to Urban Outfitters. (30 days up soon! Do: tomorrow.)
Perfect. I can't think of anything else at the moment. Looks like Thursday and Friday are going to be easy days.
