So yesterday HSM Marthon Day was cancelled because Mary Kate, who thought she had the flu, is in the hospital with something that might be a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics. So. She either really wanted to get out of the HSM party, or she was legitimately cooincedentally sick. We'll find out when we reschedule.
Instead, yesterday I biked to Jess's in Fishtown, from there we biked to Meg's right down the street, and then we were going to bike Rose's in West Philly until I suggested she and Sebastian meet us at Ants Pants instead, since that's where we were heading and it closed at 4. Of course by the time we got there it was closed, and Meg suggested going to one of two other cafes in the same area, Good Karma or La Va. Both were too crowded--no seating for 5 unless we sat outside. (It was like 30 degrees, so, that wasn't happening. It was warm enough to bike, but not enough to sit still for any period of time.) So we happened to notice this pub, cat corner from La Va, and we decided to check it out. It turned out to be really cool! It was way more exciting than a cafe. As an alcohol conossieur (i.e. alcoholic) I prefer beer over coffee any day. The only thing that was absolutely terrible about the place was the rediculous excuse for service. But it was really nice inside, and a really cool atmosphere, and it was just an all around good time. The five of us decided we're going to move in together, into a small flat in Center City with one bed, and we'll have our own TV show: Bunkin' with the Twins. It's going to be incredible.
Today I had a dentist appointment and then a doctor's appointment. And now I feel shitty. I'm getting a cold. I shouldn't complain, because my cousin Mary Kate is in the hospital, and my mom apparently has an inner ear infection which is making her dizzy, nasueous, and causing her to vomit, and all I have is a cold.. The most frustrating part about my cold at the moment is that I went to buy Tylenol today, and I bought this new kind with this really cool commercial, and it's called "Tylenol Warming" and it's warm so that it soothes you since when you have a cold you're usually physically cold and look for warmth.. But it didn't warm at all! I don't understand. I thought it would be some sort of chemical reaction, but I'm starting to think I'm supposed to microwave it. But there aren't any instructions besides: "Take 2 tablespoons every 4 hours." GD waste of money Tylenol...
